New knife first time. pic heavy

this is the first time i have ever tried to make a knife from scratch(more like a file) it has taken me forever but im finally done now all it needs is a sheath.
Mod please feel free to move this if its not in place.
Blade : old file probably 1095\ 1075
liner : brass
Pins : brass
handle: eucalyptus root.

the scales are much more pink and red then they seem to come out in the pictures. the blade still needs work,i hope it will come out nice.

good work mikey, nice to see some real meat left on the handle, allot of people tend to have them skinny, i have big hands though...;)

really good work, nice blade shape....

I wasn't sure where you were going with it on the first picture, and then it all fell into place.

A great start, and no doubt the first of many more :D

Just one point though - it's a LOT easier if you finish out the blade in full and then handle it. Saves a lot of messing around in the long run.

Mate thats really good for a first attempt the lines look good and it looks like you have nice clean bevels well done!!

Your only problem now is the very addictive nature of knife making lol

thank you guys for all the compliments, i got lots of help from a pro though he made sure i did everything all by myself, there are many imperfections and i hope next time i will do much better.
