chases our hero out of the temple at the start of Raiders of the Lost Ark has been faithfully reproduced by our
brave stunt snail!

That looks like a well trained snail though. How did you get him to stay still long enough to take the picture?

That's an African land snail. I gather not fully grown yet It might take some time as he (it?) won't eat anything but cucumber and cuttlefish bone

An archaeologist would say the snail's had 2 years to grow up it's current size. But I can't quite see the date on the latter coin. So the snail or the coin, or the coin or the snail might have been switched !?!?!?
