I think I prefer the old handle shape, though the new is subtlely different. just a personal opinion

That one was for one that want a smaller one but not a mini .

I like it better, I have two of the last batch and cut the handle down a little shorter and found it worked much better for me. I do only use them for hewing/carving though, I don't like little axes on long handles.

Sounds nice. I dont know if i have seen them. I havent visit him the last month.BTW He is in progress of making me a couple of axes.
