thanks, you can make a perfectly good knife with the clarke its just a chore doing so plus belts for the clark cost as much as the larger! and belts is where the money goes!
i will be keeping the clarke as handy for other jobs. the large table and plattern help and along with a jig should make bevelling not only neater but quicker also.

no, fixed at 1400 rpm. thankfully my belts have finally arrived! so can actually use it
