Just finished these two bush blades today.
4mm 01 steel the total length is 222mm, and 30mm at the widest point.
Hardened and tempered 58/59Rc.
One with a full flat grind and the other with a scandi grind.

Cheers... It is the large holes I was referring to.... If there was a crack or gap in-between the scales and the tang then stuff could ingress..

Filling the gap up wiv Silicon would stop this....

Yes i know that you are referring the large holes, and i can tell you that when I’m gluing the scales I’m filling the holes with epoxy and the glue will in most cases fill the gap/gaps up.
