So I made a couple of knives today. First time I have ever made a knife, and I was pretty pleased with the result. BUT! I bought a couple of leather sheaths for the knives, and the product description said the sheathes could be wetformed. So I soak the sheath, put my knife in and try to make it fit. When I pull the knife back out, the blade hade been stained by the leather, and I can't get the stains of!

This might be a newbie mistake, I don't know. But is there any way of removing the stains from the blade?

not sure about removing the stains but if you wrap the blades in cling-film before the wet forming....no staining !

you could try autosol polish, see if that helps.
