Name That Flower

Seen today on a grassy field.
I'm not too sure what it is.
The flower head was about the size of your index fingernail.
Kind of looks like common mallow to me, but seems a bit too small and a bit too early.
Thoughts?

assuming it's the toothed leaves that belong to it I suspect it's a cranesbill of some type. The notched petals would suggest Dovesfoot

I kept thinking something like Herb Robert but not..... turns out Dove's foot cranesbill likes dry.......not really something I'd see
