They are pretty dumb when they are that young Jon. They spot sudden movement but soon relax, if they look at you, just be patient and wait till they look away. Slow cautious movements is all. This wee fellah would have fitted in the palm of my hand - couldn't have been bigger than a packet of cigarettes. I've picked them up before now and had them sit in my hand and look at me nose to nose. They have a look of "are we going to be friends"?

No bunny, we aren't so run along and gain some meat and some sense . When you are nice nad big and fat, come back again.

Have fun stonyman - worst case you get a nice walk (which is all I often get) . I find I pay more attention when out with a camera - I'm really looking at whats around me rather than just blundering through it so it adds to the experience for me
