Quick question, how do you finnish the edge? is there a wax or something that you can put on it?

thanks for looking,
Mike

Looks functional.

Sand it smooth and the burnish it. To burnish it first dampen it (i seen a post suggesting saliva is best from a very good maker) and the rub along the edge with a smooth hard onjest like a metal rod piesce of wood to smooth it down.

You can use shoe polish if you wish.

Look HERE for tips

The guys over here at Tandy Leather sold me this stuff called Gum Triganth that basically causes the fibers to expand and then you burnish it like crazy. Makes a really nice edge on the sheaths I have done. Be advised though... do it after you dye or things will look odd. :D Hope it helps,

Joel

PS - Forgot to say darned nice sheath there. Nice work, especially for your second try.
