Well, I have managed to wangle enough money for a ticket; and Dad is comming too.
I will probably do a leather pouch course like last year.
And some Horn Keyrings. Or just playing around with horn. I have my blowtorch too so we can see how it behavies...Horn is good fun!
I will nick my fathers hacksaw but it might be helpful if anyone who intended joining in brought one, or a small finetoothed saw suitable for hard plastics??
You can scrimshaw horn, so we can try that as well.
Also though I have sufficient horn, (I have cow and a bit of buffalo) if anyone had any horn could they bring it along??
I have packed my hornware collection so we can have a look at examples of what can be done with horn.
If anyone has any horn artefacts for my collection, could you bring it with discussion to swap/purchase?
