My kingdom for a video editor!

Hello all, I'm interested in making a couple of low key day trip videos in wales. Not wanting something fancy, but a decent enough editor for bushcraft standards. Theres a couple of landscapes in wales just begging to be captured on film!

Windows movie maker will do all the basic stuff, have you tried it, its free with Windows and should be on your machine?

Ok so i'm trialing the windows movie maker, adobe, and program called vidpad. and i shall report back ASAP! Out of curiousity, any words on youtubes own editor?

I have Corel Videostudio but got frustrated at the amount of times it failed a "make movie" so I switched to Vegas Studio Platinum.
It's a pain learning a new package but it's sad that even this package still reports that a movie is too big to upload to Youtube even though Youtube have removed this limitation for most people.

Make sure to test drive any package first.
