These are my first attempts at spoon carving . Carved using a mora and a Ben or ford crook knife . From a piece of cherry and finished with tung oil.

Sweet! Nice spoons. The grain is pretty and you did well getting the bowl to handle transition thin. Experience helps with how thin to go. Use them and let them teach you how to make the next ones.

Cherry is one of my favourite woods to make nice looking things with - those spoons are nice looking! And I confidently predict they will be the first of many because spoon carving is very addictive!
