My First Wood Spirit!

I carved my first Wood Spirit today, he's a bit rough around the edges but I'm chuffed!

Easter Island...ummmm...I was thinking a bit more like lurch from the 'Munsters'...but eI guess he does look a bit like one of them!
But I actually got my inspiration from the shape of the wood (the nose was a big knot in the wood that I shaped the face around).....and John Fenna was showing me the ropes!
