My first go at a knife.

Hi folks,

After seeing the great knives that you make on here I was inspired to have a go myself. It was a kit from Tamarack, Tang needed shaping, etc. Dipped in white vinegar to get this dull finish which I am quite pleased with. Made the handle quite large as more comfortable. Sheath was wet molded then melted beeswax on it and put in the oven, finished off with a mystery braid belt loop.
Really enjoyed making it (hand tools only) and fancy a go at the SWC kits next, anybody had any experience with them?

Not only a knifesmith but a leather worker too.
SWC's kits are very good, I'd reccommend them to anybody.
