My First Drawstring Pouches

Hi...been meaning to make some of these ever since i started leatherwork so....after nearly 3 years...my first drawstrings....2mm pigskin...circular bottoms....approx 7 and 5 inches high....doublestitched with natural artificial sinew with thick black leather thonging for closure...yes my hands are killing me so i'll be needing that violin smiley again please mark and they were a total b**** to turn inside out...not really sure how to finish them off...they need 'something'...might just slap some dark brown dye round the openings and let it soak in by itself, see what happens....am gonna eyelet the holes and resolene to waterproof...

nice work mate. could you do some pyrography designs on them? i like the idea with the dye too. they still look braw though

Simple and effective - I like the look as they are. MAybe a bit of waterproofing treatment will darken them up.
