Hi any one no if it is ok to leave the fule pump screwed into the fule bottle for long periods of time or is it best to remove it thanks phil.

I leave the pump in mine all the time, it's the original plastic one too and it's stood up well to plenty of knocks over the years.

I think you can leave it screwed in BUT I had a problem leaving the brass valve screwed shut. It seized completely, meaning I broke it trying to open it, and had a buy a whole new pump. I now leave the brass valve half-open, which means you can't leave the pump on a full fuel bottle!

I have seven or eight remote canister stoves and tend to leave the pumps in them, just depends how I feel.
