Mountainsmith Recycled Day Waistpack with Strapettes

I know the subject of day packs has been worked to death and then work some more. However I would like to offer a review of some kit and a list of what I carry in it. For sometime know I have been using the Mountainsmith Recycled Day Waistpack with Strapettes now for sometime. I figure that I got at least 100 miles on the setup. And I like it, really like it. The bag is well made and simple. I can fit all of the stuff in it and it does on completely cover my back. In fact with the Strapettes it is very similar to a LBE with a butt bag. One of the things I like most about the setup is there is nothing around my neck and getting under down trees is a snap. This bag may not be for everyone and there is a meet a great period. It took me a good two hikes just to figure out how I what’d to setup the suspension system. But once it is dialed man did I say I like this bag.
