No, but one of the first gigs I saw as a lad was Motorhead, in a pub in Nicolson Street Edinburgh as I recall.

Like Sandbender that's a no, but I did see Judas Priest there in the 80's - tickets were about £5 if I remember. (How much now?)

Love seeing Motorhead but it seems their not playing down this way this year, no doubt Hawkwind will be doing their christmas gigs around here somewhere though

£40 is great really eh? I saw Judas Priest last year for £38 in London Hammersmith Apollo. Great prices by bands who have stayed loyal to their fans.
I remember telling my uncle I had seen Status Quo in Glasgow Apollo. This was around 1980. He asked how much the tickets cost...

''£5.50'' I said. He went ''£5.50? The robbing barstewards. The last time I saw them it cost ten bob''.
