Went to the Cambridge meet yesterday and played with a bit of Sycamore. Usual splits happened, etc.
After I got it home I realised what I had carved...oooppps
We found a dropped branch from one of the massive Lime's there and I did a small spoon today out of a "thin" 1" bit (left the 4" diameter bit for another day)
Loads of interesting colours came out while carving it and SWMBO likes the handle (the main reason/experimental reason I did it). Next one may have a pierced handle me thinks
