Neat idea if you're at home to make it.
An in the field adaptation is a length of paracord tied off in a simple loop.
Double it over your belt and then hook the sheath to the hanging loops.
That or you hook the knot into the clip and pull it snug then thread onto your belt
Job done

Yes of course , but you dont find out that your belt it too big in the field , you already know it at home
another more "bulletproof" option is if you can get it , to put the thing what hold jeans together I dont know how its called in English , you could screw that on the hole Similar threads
