After seeing what Jogga Sundquist was using on a recent Spoonfeest thread I fancied doing the same to one of my Frosts Mora knives, the blade length is 60 mm, not sure what it is as I was told it is a 106 but they are 49mm, anyway I had some spalted beech left over from doing up some hand augers, and poped the blade out, (what a large hole for a small blade) I personally would call this original fitting a bodge, drilled right through and made a tight fit of the blade, I still used the roll pin to hold the blade in place, might copy this type of fitting for another project I have in mind.
Here she is.

You two boys can do the same if you use some of the spalted beech I gave you.
Could be a challenge there, winner gets a slave at the next camp.
