Picked a couple of these from moonraker

finished this one and made some clothes for it too having given it a good work out I can see it as a decent full tang Mora alternative

Nice one all around. The handle looks to be much improved over the original. I think more people would use these knives when out if they had sheaths.
 
Looking again at this on a bigger screen.
You've rounded off the handle I reckon. Which is definately on my modification list
Possibly changed the grind?

The group of us at weekend reckoned it was a bit like a lightweight leuku option due to the blade length (I got the butchers knife)
How does it throw sparks with the ferro rod? Not had a chance to play with that yet

started out as a 7" butchers knife. Rounded the handle and also removed some of the sides nearest the blade to give better/closer thumb control. removed the hump on the back of the spine, thought about dropping the point but decided to leave it for a bit, Squared off the spine - throws decent sparks now. created a mini choil and added a mustard patina to the blade. Havn't done much to the edge except sharpen it.
