Mint leaf beetle?

Left a pair of gloves overnight on a patch of ground where I'd recently cut some brambles. Found them again today and they were covered with pretty green beetles. The closest match I can find is the mint leaf beetle, but there is no mint up there

On further research, I reckon it's more likely to be "gastrophysa viridula" which lives on docks

Plenty of docks for them to eat, tuck in lads!

Yes, Dock beetle. Loads of them around already.

Do you know ? I've often wondered what those bright shiny wee beetles were, and here you've shown them so clearly
I mind watching them as a child, the fat one laying bright yellow eggs.
