That's neat Tony :D
Is there a tutorial/explanation on the pineapple forum ?

I have a much larger version made for me by John Kemp (from manilla, http://www.knyph.co.uk/ropework.html) but that little one would make a decent brush for baking, or tassels for cords from silk ropes too.

I took the rope, unlaid a foot and tied a manrope knot (wall and crown), and combed out the ends. Tony

Up with the wall and down with the crown! :D
I mind.

Someone on the forum had an animated knot making thingie, I wonder if it could be adapted for things like this. It's a neat start for children too :)

Giving this a bump because I've just come across the brush that the late John Kemp made for me.

I watched him make it, I find that kind of craft work incredibly satisfying, somehow atavistically hardwired into the brain. People make stuff :)
