Mini survival kit

Upon reading the SAS survival hand book cover to cover on Christmas day when I was about 15, I’ve wanted to put together a kit and eventually got all the bits together a couple of years ago, some 20 years later. I still want to improve it or add less makeshift items, but I like it.

I’ve set myself the challenge of producing the smallest useful kit I can. I’m working on a 35mm film container.

Button compass, scalpel blade, a few matches a couple of hooks and a couple of metres of line, a couple of puritabs, safety pin, button LED torch…

Ideas please.

Pretty good but I dare say the compass will be next to useless though with any thing mettalic with iron in will pull it off in time a jonny is always useful (condom)
