My main strop is great and super efficient but it's a bit on the bulky side and weighty for what it is, and I wanted something that could dangle away next to my neck knife.
A friend had dropped off some oak veneer/stripwood for kindling that was far too good to burn!
So I found a lovely little thin piece and glued some leather on to it. It's nothing special in the looks department but it's lovely and light and sits on my neck knife nicely.
I've seasoned it up with some smurf doo and given it a few goes, seems to work well, wouldn't want it any smaller though!
