Ok folks third and final part!
Well the Hultafors stuff is very good but i bet you're all ready to have a look at some of Cegga's stuff!!
So without further ado...........
Cegga's work is fantastic, these photo's really don't do it justice.
Damascus is'nt easy to photograph and i'm afraid the patterning on the crowbar has'nt
come out very clearly, you'll just have to take my word for it when i tell you it was stunning!
Work in progress..........
A prototype of the forthcoming Cegga / British Red cruiser axe.
A tray full of damascus blocks ready to be transformed by Cegga into works of art!!!
Cegga took us to a quiet corner of the site to some buildings currently being used for storage,,,,,,,,,,
Cegga told us he has been discussing with his boss the possibility of converting some of this building into a workshop for his own stuff.
This would enable him to devote more time to his own projects, in fact Cegga has already
started to amass some of the machinery he will require.
He has put a considerable amount of time and effort into cleaning up these tools, some
of which had been stood outside open to the elements for years and had been covered
in rust etc.. prior to him aquiring them.........
Before we left Cegga introduced me to a spot of axe throwing!!
Here's me having a go...........
Beginners luck!!
Now Cegga's go..........
One of Cegga and me....
I would like to thank Cegga for a very enjoyable visit, :You_Rock_
it really was a great opportunity and one i shall never forget. Thanks mate.
