Medieval kidney pouch

Was commissioned to make a leather medieval style kidney pouch for a chap that's into LARP.

Hadn't made one before so said I'd give it a go. Hopefully he's happy with it.

It's 26cm wide and 25cm from top of belt loop to base

Thanks fella's. chap wanted a press stud but I though the Sam brown stud would be easier to manipulate with his armour etc on.

Plus in his own words "it's fantasy LARP not historical reenactment so no one cares if its 'accurate' "

Nice bollock pouch (be careful searching that phrase on Google!) Orric. Really neat bit of work that. On the sam brown stud front similar clasps were used in armour making so I'm sure some inspired leather worker may have used something similar? Who knows. Great stuff anyway.

Yeah I was told they were also called bollock pouches....... Thought kidney pouch was a little more family friendly lol

Well there is that! I've also heard them called "Ballock Pouches" in a similar way a certain type of dirk was referred to as Bollock/Ballock daggers. Maybe a friendlier term too.
