Mead & Metheglin

Evening all,

I have to admit to being a bit partial to a drop of Mead, but with Christmas coming up i was thinking about Metheglin. Anyone tried it? If so what's it like?

Are the spices the same as mulled wine. Any info or recipes would be very welcome.

Metheglin is simply flavoured mead, the recipes vary hugely from spices to fruit. I've made quite a few batches of a variety of recipes. If you like mead, you are likely to enjoy metheglin.

Try the book "wild wines and meads" for recipes.
