My favourite shop - Maplin - is selling a variety of head lights and head lamps (I'm not
sure of the difference to be honest) from four pounds (technically £3.99). I haven't tried
them but I was in the shop today while waiting for my Bento box and thought they
looked promising.

Also they sell UV key ring lights - are they for real? I thought, if such things genuinely
produced UV light, I might buy one when I'm on a plant walk - it's interesting to see how
bees and other UV-spotting beasts might see flowers.

Anyway, revenons a nos moutons and all that...

Looks like a nice backup light.

To be honest, I wouldn't want to use any of these as a main light, but rather something like a Petzl Tikka. Probably a whole of a lot better quality and I HATE being in the dark when I need light so I'd probably go for a more expensive but more reliable one :)

Cheers!
