Many recipes, from an Icelandic woman living in France.

Not particularly bushcrafty, but much that might be of interest, her husband photographs the food and does a damn good job of it, the recipes are well laid out and easy to follow.

Mimi Thorisson

I particularly like the look of the...

Eggs Benedict

Icelandic Fish Soup

Veal Liver with Caramelised Shallots and Balsamic Vinegar

However the 'French Thanksgiving Meal' might be one to look through first.

Enjoy :)

Absolutely glorious! Some really good recipes there and really well presented.

Thanks for the links.

Sandbender you may be right that it's not particularly "Bushcrafty" dut what a good find. Plus far too many crafters eat badly when they're outside. My mate Belzeebob and I pretty much if you can do it in the house you can do it outside. (The car isn't called the chuck wagon for nowt). I think what holds most folk back is bowing to tradition, a little fear and lack of preping area when away. Also certain national cuisines lend themselves better to outdoors cooking. A lot of middle eastern cooking for example is one pot easy prep with cheap light ingredients that tend not to spoil without refrigeration.

Great find though recipies and photo's are really good,
GB.
