Make your own meths stoves

Anyone got a good design for a meths stove? I'm looking into making one for myself to see what all the fuss is with MYOG. I've seen a few youtube ids of making the pepsi can stove and that's easy. Probably try one of them. Just wondered if there is anything out there people could recommend.

BTW I am not completely hands on and practical in that way so I'd prefer something needing only basic DIY tools and that will leave me with my fingers still located in the correct locations.

A good simple meths stove to try is a cat stove , as in cat food tin .

You can print of templates from Zen Stoves to make hole placement easy or try your own number and size of holes.

Jim Wood's site is also good, and he designed a base to make the stove more stable.
