Fancied a go at one of these for ages. Finally managed to get hold of an old hickory bucher knife and a couple hours later...............

Very cool! I take it from the paper shavings in the background that it is quite sharp .
The forward hump and upwards curved blade reminds me of the Adirondack Guide from Bark River.
