Machete handle wrap?

Hi I've just re handled my tramotina bolo machete and I'm looking too put a parachord wrap on the handle.has anyone got any advice or decent links too this process that could help me out.cheers Andy

No probs man sheer coincidence i had the video bookmarked, i've been thinking of putting it on my hatchet too as it has a fiberglass composite handle that i could imagine slipping out of a sweaty hand

They pretty cool when done right.i like the idea on that vid of gutting the chord too make it flatter.i might have a do at that for the whole wrap.

Definitely helps having an underlayer of the gutted cord for the visible layer to grip onto, i've got some 2mm leather thong and i'm trying to use that as the visible layer with the Strider weave, finding it tricky as i have to wax/oil the thong to make it supple enough for the bending but this makes it difficult to hold onto once you get going, if i get it right i'll snap some pics and load them up
