Machete Bevel

Got my Brit Army machete today piccie below:

looking at the bevel it is fairly symetrical for about 3/4 of the blade, then towards the tip it starts to decrease on one side whilst increasing on the other, ending up almost like a blade from a plane, i have tried to take a picture to illustrate,

Is this bevel normal, or do i need to spend time with a file and waterstones to equal the bevel, having never owned a machete before i am unsure if this is normal on this type of blade.

Is it a scandi grind?

I have a solider 95 one , it comes in a bayonet frog .
Mine has an even bevel all the way down .
