Just seen on springwatch that a big lunar eclipse is due to start from 9.25 tonight, next one this big is on the year 2145, so might be worth the effort of a look.

No chance of seeing it round my way.... low cloud with 100% coverage and tipping down with rain :(

I'm in the middle of the desert in perfect line for the eclipse.
I took some pictures, I'll try to get them up on the site later.

Too be fair Mary, Bothwell and Uddingston has been under heavy cloud ever since it lost its best looking, funny, witty and charming citizen. Uddies lost, Ballochs gain......:lmao:

Still got a bit to go till after 9pm, best of luck everyone and may you all have clear skies....

Just looked at the weather forecasts. Most of england will not see a thing. Central belt and west coast of Scotland plus Ireland look like they are in with a good chance.

It's honking it down here and not much sign of it clearing up either, I'll stick me head out in a bit though

I'm going to hope there's a break in the clouds and I can see this, even part of it.

Graham it must be brilliant to see it out there in the desert :D

Lucky me, watched it for ages here in Bulgaria with my mate, excellent stuff. Binoculars and a nice leica telescope added to the experience, hopefully got pics too.
