For those of you who do not visit "British Blades", I'll duplicate a post I made there. I thought I had made a ground breaking discovery the other day, but it would appear that the topic has been discussed before:-
I saw some nail files in the toileteries section of the supermarket and thought they would do as a small, pouch-sized strop for keeping a razor edge on your knife. They are the ceramic carbide type and were 49p for three - so I bought some and they are just the job!
As you can see from my signiture, I'm always on the look-out for things to adapt to other uses.
