Lovely new present

Oooooh! Look what I got from DesertHammer this morning. We did a BITH (Bag in the Hat) over on Paleo Planet and this is what I got.

What excellent workmanship. All hand stitched with sim sinew. Deer vertebrae buttons on the front and the beadwork is just awesome.

I like it... is the beading applied directly to the leather or is it assembled separately and then attached?

What will I put in it? Nothing. My wife fell in love with it and claimed it for her own. She says I can 'borrow' it for mountainman activities.

The beadwork was done on a beading loom and then applied to the braintan.
