Had a fantastic four nighter over the long weekend, with some of the guys from the Suffolk Bushcraft Group.
Setting up camp on the Thursday in warm sunshine, is always a bonus. Friday had rain from midday till 2am, Saturday thunderstorms all afternoon, which soon turned the tracks into quagmire. Sunday beautiful sunshine, and and a leisurely breakdown on the Monday in glorious sunshine.
Despite the weather, we managed to get a lot done around the main group shelter. Firewood prep, cutting up and splitting a fallen Ash.
Some knotwork, shelter building and firelighting. I'd never seen so many Bluebells in this particular wood before, and a few Ramsons I planted 5/6 years ago, have become a nice thick patch. (With farmers permission). All in all a very relaxed and enjoyable time with a great group of chaps.
I used the same tarp setup as last month, my phone died so not many pics, sorry.
