Evening folks, it was such a nice day today i spent most of it at Lords Wood. :) i wanted to sort through my options for ground dwelling at the October meet, fancied a change from my hammock.

Started off with my modified Zeltbahn with a military short mozzie net, then tried my flecktarn tarp with a domed mozzie net. A bit of a re-hang and i was happy with it. I was like an old tart picking a handbag! ;)

Hey guys,

If anyone's got a spare hammock under-quilt they could lend us for a night that would give my boy the option of hammocking. No worries though.

And so you can mentally prepare yourselves, I'm thinking of getting fish and chips one night.

Due to changes and the Steamtent Halloween meet cancelled due to a lot of illness within the group I am now able to come to this event rather than just a visit.

I will now do a mountain man breakfast for all on the Saturday morning to feed you up for any work that needs doing.

It will include:

Sausage
Bacon
Ham
Steak
Eggs (lots)
peppers
Mushrooms
potatoes
Cheese

If anyone does not want any of the ingredients please let me know either on this forum or in person, before I start cooking and I can either do an smaller one without the problem item or if enough people do not like e.g. mushrooms I can miss them out and cook them separately for people.

I have a couple of Hammock options I can bring so that you can have a try out for a couple of different set ups. one does not even need an under quilt due to the fact it uses a inflating mat as it's base.
