Still time to take a break mate!

Looking good Steve, all the hard work now will pay dividends in the Winter.A great weekend, myself and a couple of others took advantage of the good forecast and landed on the Thursday. We had several new lads attend who mucked in and worked well, hopefully we will see them again.
This meet we concentrated on the communal area, stripping out the old firepit and replacing it with a deeper beefed up job. Others were tasked to construct a windbreak around the communal fire in preparation for the colder meets, this took the form of a continuous hurdle style fence made of Holly, looks good and will certainly keep the draught off in the winter! I also had time to try out my new Aldi fire bowl, worked really well, great value. looking forward to the next meet with more projects and clearing. here's a few pics...
Yes worth the effort Martin, just need to keep the woodpile stocks high. Got my eye on a couple of dead birches. My offer of help still stands mate.Looking good Steve, all the hard work now will pay dividends in the Winter.
That pot hanger is a bit optimistic...
