Well this meet was unashamedly all about a Christmas turkey dinner! it was a group effort with everyone bringing something from pigs in blankets to port :) Tinky Pete was the cook, and Mike presented us with a homemade Christmas cake laced with sherry. Exceptional effort by everyone, and a great time was had by all. (pity there was no pork) here's a few pics...

At least you seem to be properly equipped. That LED light chain on the fence does seem lightly out of style, it might help not tripping on it after the port though.

Not quite a typical Finnish camping meet but there might be something to it hmmm ...

Looks like everybody had a good and relaxed time!

uk mainly in the Midlands though
It is an original smokehouse hammock tent in multi-cam. This meet I only used bungees and pegs to sort it out for the wall, not the usual walking poles or bivi poles I normally use. I did not put my stove in because it was not cold enough and I was on a cam cot with a this polish sleep mat, after my night shift before the meet meant I had a very good sleep base.

Thanks

I've recently seen the One Tigris Hammock hot tent which looks similar , yours looks much better

Looks like you all had a great time.
Sad we couldn't make it. We have got a rescued foxhound now. He is settling in well but we have yet to introduce him to camping or the hammock.
Maybe next year :)

Looks like a fantastic meet.
Sorry I couldn’t make it but in hindsight but we had a case of quarantine cough here so just as well I didn’t sign up to bring the turkey.
Nice one guys.
Fingers crossed for the next meet up
