Anyone got a link for a reasonably accurate long range weather forcast for December in the UK, we have a fair bit of travelling to do and a heads up would be nice.

None of the creditable forecasters will even attempt to forecast farther than a week in advance.

Long term trends that are likely, is all that is possible after 7-10 days in advance.

The Met office are still the kings of long range up to a month ahead, they say northerly winds are likely for the next month which is actually sticking their neck out. You can get this on their website on the "Text forecast"- 6-30 days ahead.

If its true, expect cold and dry on average.

I tend to use a bit of seaweed, when it's wet it's raining, when it white it's snowing and when it shoots off over the fence it's windy. :lmao:

Back on topic, the Met Office would be a good place to start, there's a day 6 to 30 tab to look at: http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast/#?tab=regionalForecast
