Loch Tarsan, Cowal peninsula

I've been looking at this area on Google maps and I wondered if anyone had done any wild camping in this neck of the woods?

The loch is dammed and looks to be stocked with trout for fishing, so I daresay there will be regular fishing parties. Any feedback would be appreciated, as would any tips on other spots in this general area.

The place was/is covered in Sitka Spruce! Try Purdies in Dunoon for fishing permits.

Thanks. I was wondering about that so I'll probably look elsewhere for a better mix of tree. I'm not really into fishing and so was trying to avoid any fishing parties!

I have a long weekend coming up next week and I'm looking to do a couple of nights out somewhere different in west or central Scotland.
