Loch Maree Gathering

Hi All

MySelf and a few others are having a gathering at Loch Maree on the 24-26/2/17. Anyone is welcome to come along.

Once we have a better idea of numbers I'll contact the caravan site in Kinlochewe and ask if we can park there (possibly with a small fee).
There is a wee shop at Kinlochewe for last minute supplies too.

The idea is to park up at Kinlochewe, cross the bridge over the river just to the east of the village, and follow the track Northwest along the river and through the fields to the camp site. It's about an hours walk and not too strenuous as I recall.

wee bump for this to see who is interested. There has been more discussion on this meet over on Facebook, though I'd like to keep it on BCUK as much as possible especially for those who don't use FB.

I intended to park cars at the caravan club for safety but it's closed, but there is a wee parking area for the route anyway that's off the road so should be plenty safe. Just before getting into kinlochewe take the wee bridge to the right north over the river, up past the school and you are there. Here is a link to a pin on google maps which will load into any smartphone etc. Then just follow the track northwest towards Slioch and we will be on that route.

Plan is to set up camp where Ian linked to in the first post. There may be a better spoti n the vicinity but we wont know until we get there. There are approx 7-8 confirmed so anyone else wanting to join should certainly see or hear us
