Just a few words and pics about the W/E....

Firstly can I say thanks to all who turned up in support and to share your skills, and those of you who brought group kit along :You_Rock_

We where blessed with good weather, if not slightly oppressive on the Sat!

There where a veriaty of different sleeping arangements, from Tipi

Thanks Pignut for organising this meetup.

Excellent site and a good group of people.
Learnt a lot of new stuff and new ways of doing some other things. Glad folks enjoyed the can stove demos.

Looking forward to the next meetup.

thanks also to those that travelled from afar it was good to meet some new faces.

if you want to use any base camp kit again pignut just give us a shout!!

love the photos they came out really well,and i'm sure theres more to come...
my daughter [rabbit photo]is always getting stuck in,she's actually spent her first weekend out under a tarp on her own now and shes only three.she loved it.
the wife and boy stayed in the tent,but he is only one,won't be long though!!

glad everyone had something to take away from it,i enjoyed doing my demo's and watching others,

stu's meths burner was novel,got to have a go with chris's bamboo
another cracking plant walk with martin and paul.
finished nicely for tea with trev's hangi,a brilliant way to cook you have to taste it to belive it.
cheers for kicking this off pignut ,must do it again some time.

Had a cracking weekend,
seemed a very busy weekend for me with one thing and another :rolleyes:
good to meet some new faces and learn some new skills, look forward to doing it again some time.
