Just a few words and pics about the W/E....

Firstly can I say thanks to all who turned up in support and to share your skills, and those of you who brought group kit along :You_Rock_

We where blessed with good weather, if not slightly oppressive on the Sat!

There where a veriaty of different sleeping arangements, from Tipi

To tarp

And the brews seemed to be produced thick and fast (You can almost play spot the kettle with these pictures)

We where even lucky enough to spot the very rare "Bush Pug" not often seen around these parts

humour aside there where some brilliant demos, (Some of which I did not photograph as I was to busy learning..... Sorry Neanderthal

But here are a few I did manage to snap!

And of course a guide on how to cook the food (Hangi).... this tasted brilliant.. some quite literally the best I have eaten (Trevody :You_Rock_ )

In true bushcraft stlye we also had a pop at some new skills (To us anyway) and sadly had no joy......... Keep at it Clcuckow

Excellent site and a good group of people.

love the photos they came out really well,and i'm sure theres more to come...
my daughter [rabbit photo]is always getting stuck in,she's actually spent her first weekend out under a tarp on her own now and shes only three.she loved it.
the wife and boy stayed in the tent,but he is only one,won't be long though!!

glad everyone had something to take away from it,i enjoyed doing my demo's and watching others,

stu's meths burner was novel,got to have a go with chris's bamboo
another cracking plant walk with martin and paul.
finished nicely for tea with trev's hangi,a brilliant way to cook you have to taste it to belive it.
cheers for kicking this off pignut ,must do it again some time.
