If it's the wood carving set they look ok and for 20 English groats not to bad and worth a punt

Don't know about the carving set, but I'm interested in this sharpener http://www.lidl.co.uk/cps/rde/xchg/lidl_uk/hs.xsl/index_24603.htm - good for small knives, and only £1.99.
