Lidl heads up

From the 29th March Lidl are selling loads of fishing gear, I've no idea if the stuff is any good as I don't fish but the £2.99 tripod stool looks OK as does the green fishing tent for £11.99 (be OK for storing kit perhaps?)

if its anything like aldis gear for the money its ok for someone who wants to fish occasionally.the telescopic rods come in handy.worth a look thanks for the heads up.

and the tent is ok for kippin in me and the dog both get in!although not tested in bad weather. packs down tiny

Might consider one for the occasional all round fishing during holidays...

The tripod stools won't last long. Either the seats fail, or the mechanism holding the legs at the mid point fails. Either way, it's a big fat freddy fail!

I have the extending net from there as it was cheap and use it for congering hussing. The chemical lights are really good for the money.

Anytime now, keep an eye out for the Trangia clone they sometimes sell, really well made bit of kit.
