I carried a broad arrow stamped army/navy folding knife in the service and years after. I'm talking the sheepsfoot, can/bottleopener and marlinespike/hoofpick with the black chequered gutta percha scales. I even brought it in my luggage ( pre 9/11 inanity) back on a visit to the UK. Heathrow customs hardly took a second look.
Those knives have a backspring worthy of a bank safe! It seems to me someone should take one apart and copy that beast in a slipjoint scandi drop point.
