Leatherworking

Hello,

I recently did a Woodlore fundamentals course and I am looking to make a leather belt and sheath for the knife I was given. I've never done any leatherworking and know nothing about it.

Can any of you experienced leatherworkers point me in the direction of some good leatherworking resources? Books, websites , leather suppliers etc.

thanks for the pointer, excellent info and just what I was looking for.

In fact, its convinced me to get hold of a full tang blade and start from scratch. The knife I was given on the course was up to the job, but it has a horrible plasticy, rubber handle and looks nowhere near as good as a wooden handled one.
